FITNESS
Condition of being physically fit and healthy. Physical
fitness refers to the ability of your body systems to work together
efficiently to allow you to be healthy and perform activities of daily living.
Fitness involves activity of some sort that stimulates various systems of the
body and maintains a certain condition within the body. Exercise/Yoga not
only helps you keep in shape but can also help endurance, strength, balance,
and flexibility, helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression and improve your
mood and many health benefits.
FOOD
Any nutritious substance we eat or drink to maintain life and
growth. Taken into the body to sustain life, provide energy and promote growth.
Our body needs seven components to maintain a balanced diet Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, Vitamins, Minerals, Fiber, and Water. In order
to stay healthy, we should take 6 meals per day (three full meals and three snacks)
& water to stay hydrated (2-3liter). Skipping meals is bad for your health
it causes slower metabolism which can lead to weight gain, Low Energy
Levels, Hair Loss, Sleep Issues, weight loss, fatigue & depression, etc… A
healthy diet protects you against
many chronic non-communicable diseases, heart disease, diabetes & cancer… Eat lots of fruit and vegetable,
fish, egg, and eat less (sugar and salt) for a healthy diet. And avoid fast food and oily food.
MENTAL HEALTH
Mental health
includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we
think, feel & act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to
others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at
every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Nowadays
people are suffering from stress & depression and its effect on their mental
health as anxiety, irritability, panic
attacks, low appetite, mental illness, suicidal thoughts,
irregular sleep patterns, high blood pressure etc.. Talking about your
feelings can help you stay in good mental health. You can communicate with your
friends, and family members or some time if you can’t talk to someone you know you
can talk so strangers or you can see a doctor who can help you with your condition.
Try meditation, sleep well and try something you’re good at, eat healthy,
work on your hobbies, exercise… in short try to change your lifestyle. It
can help you heal….
